Northern Tilth worked with Mill to develop end-use recommendations for the dried Food Grounds that are produced in the Mill’s at-home food recycler. Northern Tilth conducted field trials to determine how Food Grounds may be used as a soil amendment, fertilizer and backyard composting feedstock. Northern Tilth presented findings to Mill and wrote guidance for homeowners, which is available on Mill’s website.
